Wheaton Fire Prevention Association, Inc.

The Wheaton Fire Prevention Association is a Wisconsin 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation established in 2020. While it is a separate organization from Wheaton Fire & Rescue, it is made up entirely of the same volunteer members who serve on the department.

The Association's mission is exclusively charitable and educational — providing equipment, tools, training, and other support to help our first responders better serve and protect the Town of Wheaton community in Chippewa County. As an all-volunteer department, we rely on the generosity of community members and supporters to maintain our readiness and capabilities.

On November 11, 2025, the Wheaton Fire Prevention Association proudly presented a check for $69,721.99 to the Town of Wheaton — fully funding the purchase of our brand new Rescue 1 vehicle!

What makes this moment so special is that Rescue 1 was paid for entirely through donations and community fundraising. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our residents, friends, and local businesses, we now have a brand new, reliable, and capable vehicle to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this possible. Your continued support ensures that our community remains safe, strong, and well-served. Special thanks to our volunteer firefighters and medical first responders for selflessly investing so much time in our fundraising efforts.
